Blink of an Eye

Do you imagine what can happen to you in a blink of an eye? As we wake up everyday and do the normal things that we usually do, do you get the feeling that something good or bad will happen to you? I guess almost everyone does, it is like feeling positive and negative in what we do. But regardless on what we feel things happen and it always happen for a reason. That some reason, we don’t know but for sure God does.

People may experience success, pain, happiness, sadness and even deaths in a blink of an eye. It doesn’t choose location or race as long as we are here living. We can’t predict what things can happen to us in a split second as we blink our eyes.

I was 23 years old at that time that I experienced near death because of appendicitis and at first I thought of it was just a normal stomach pain so what happen was my family brought me to an “Albularyo”
(a Philippine practitioner of traditional medicine) and does her rituals and let me eat food to reduce the pain said by the Albularyo. Then as we are about to leave the area the pain got worst and I was unconscious at that moment then I saw my Mom who died a year ago, the strangest thing happen because my Mom was trying to convince me that I need to see a real doctor and keep on repeating that I need to see a doctor. As soon as I saw my Mom and heard her message I said to the person who is with me that they need to bring me to the nearest hospital. As we arrived at the hospital the doctor did his analyzed my condition then informed my family that I should undergo surgery. After that surgery the doctor told me that I was lucky because if I was 2 hours late I might end up dead. Three years pass and now I am physically fit and so deeply in love.
Faith with God helps us widen our understanding in accepting reality even though reality bites. As long as we have faith with God that He has great plans on everyone and by believing His words even if we don’t know why or what is the exact answer. That invisible answer will be visible to us by faith and by believing on it.

Psalm23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me
1 Corinthians 15:54-57 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

My Reason of posting this is that I want to know your experiences in life that you think change you in a blink of an eye. So that I can share the feeling and experience a bit of what you had feel on that moment. So please post your comment and share.
